GRAPHOSITE present at the UltraWire 2021 Workshop – 15 July 2021
The GRAPHOSITE Project was invited to participate and present its results at the UltraWire 2021 Workshop, held on the 15th July 2021. Dr George Maistros from ADVISE Deta (Project Coordinator), gave a general presentation of the GRAPHOSITE Project, at the beginning of the afternoon sessions. The afternoon sessions were dedicated to the GRAPHOSITE Project. All partners were invited to give individual presentations about their organisations and work.
The UltraWire Workshop is organised yearly by Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology (GRAPHOSITE Partner in charge of dissemination), as an opportunity to learn about progress in the development of nano-carbon technologies for improving electrical conductivity properties. The UltraWire 2021 workshop was held in order to support commercialisation of new technologies providing conductive materials solutions, including nano-carbon and metal-based composite materials for a number of applications, such as; electrical energy transmission, structural health monitoring and light-weight transport by bringing together technology development leaders and industrial end-users. Around 30 people registered to participate on this workshop, they came from leading organisations, research centres and universities such as: Airbus, Prysmian Group, SAFRAN, Graphenea, Belden, Furukawa Electric Institute of Technology, MBDA Systems, Bronkhorst UK, Conductores Monterrey, PADAR tecnoenergie, University of Cambridge, University of Strathclyde, Soongsil University and Ataturk University.
